Work on the building has begun to slow down. The heat is becoming hard to deal with. While the roof and sides on the building did create shade, they had the opposite effect. It was very hot and stuffy. The crew started knocking off for the day around 1:00 PM.

As the siding was going up I noticed there were doing very little cutting of the metal. I talked to the crew and found that the siding is ordered by the builder to exact length. While that might be a little more expensive, it is a great time saver. The only exception was the gable…
A little delayed due weather. Day 5
The wrap also gave me an idea of the outside of the building. You’ll notice the standing water. It must have rained 3″ over a two day span. That did slow the crew down but that’s all part of the process. At least now with the roof on, the inside stayed much drier.

The wrap defined the inside of the building and I am now able to get and idea of the size.
